Extinctioners 16 Now Available!

The highly anticipated Extinctioners 16 is now available in classy comic book format. Order your copy through Angry Viking's New & Improved Shopping Cart. The story follows a group of characters who learn they are hybrids, a humanoid animal possessing special powers which augment some species characteristic, and that their creators are on their way back to their planet with plans of taking over. The humanoid animals on the planet Alden, or humanimals, were genetic constructs created by humans for the purpose of avoiding having animals become extinct on an overpopulated Earth, with the idea that more humanoid animals would be able to better adapt to the changing reduction to their natural environments and increased pollution. Barackapalooza Defeats Buffyfest At The Boston Convention Center Showdown!

Not really...but several Angry Vikings set up shop at Wizard World New England (akaBuffyfest) this past weekend. Coincidentally, President Obama was also hosting a political rally at the convention center as well, which rivaled the attendance of the comic con. However, comic fans were able to evade the Secret Service and grab some hot new Angry Viking books, including Happiness is A Warm Gun (sold out, woot!) The Demon Mages, Speed Demonz, and Chisuji. We just got back from Otakon. Rumors say our comics are so hot, it started the fire that shut the convention down. Those rumors are probably true, but there are more interesting events going down. For example, Demon Mages creator Jason "Crybringer" Robinson is releasing an album of original game tracks for the 25th anniversary of Konami's shooter classic Gradius. While there are several vikings still taking assault against the casino gaming world, Shawntae Howard taken a slight break from the Extinctioners and has unleashed a few illustrative daggers of his own. Introducting our first series of Online Exclusive content is The Girls of Angry Viking Press. A new set of illustrations featuring the leading female characters of several Angry Viking Press titles such as Coco Gun, Demon Mages, Andorozon and more! The will be more pinups released within the next couple of weeks, so be sure to come back and check them out. While we're planning on invading Wizard World New England in full force this Fall, there will be several incognito Viking sightings in Otakon this July 29 - August 1.
